About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to lead our spice sales (specifically Garam Masala and blended spices) across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on executor with in-depth knowledge of retail and distributor channels in both rural and urban markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet growth targets.
Manage and expand the distributor and retail network across both states.
Drive general trade penetration in key cities like Pune, Nagpur, Indore, Bhopal, and Tier 2/3 towns.
Lead a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers, and Field Executives.
Plan and execute consumer promotions, in-store branding, and marketing activations.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends; provide actionable insights.
Ensure timely collections, credit hygiene, and channel profitability.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
6-10 years of experience in FMCG/Spices/Food sales, with 2-3 years in a regional or multi-territory role.
Strong understanding of the Maharashtra and MP markets.
Proven leadership, distribution management, and retail execution skills.
Must be fluent in Hindi; Marathi is a strong plus.
