Own and drive overall sales, distribution, and revenue growth for the assigned zone.
Develop and execute zonal sales strategies and annual operating plans in line with business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers to ensure consistent target achievement across territories.
Strengthen and expand the distributor and channel partner network to enhance market reach and penetration.
Review and manage primary and secondary sales, inventory levels, credit control, and distributor profitability.
Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and promotions; recommend corrective and growth-oriented actions.
Ensure effective execution of trade marketing initiatives, visibility programs, and brand activations.
Drive sales capability building through coaching, training, and performance management of teams.
Monitor and control zonal budgets, schemes, and promotional spends for optimal ROI.
Conduct regular market visits and business reviews to track execution and resolve on-ground challenges.
Prepare and present MIS, sales forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and governance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Strong experience in FMCG sales, channel management, and handling multi-state operations.
Proven leadership capability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams.
Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and financial acumen with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
High ownership mindset with a result-oriented and execution-driven approach.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned zone.
