The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales, and overall performance of a specific geographic region for the company. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and coordination to ensure that the region meets or exceeds its goals, contributes to the overall success of the organization, and effectively manages field sales activities.
Areas of Responsibility -
v Develop and implement regional sales strategies in alignment with overall company objectives
v Actively engage with the field sales team, providing guidance and support through regular site visits to ensure they effectively meet customer needs and achieve sales targets
v Set sales targets and goals for the region, ensuring they are realistic and achievable
v Oversee the implementation of sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets
v Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions
v Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion within the region
v Evaluate potential new markets and recommend entry strategies
v Act as a point of contact for major clients and address their concerns or issues
v Provide regular and accurate sales reports to senior management
v Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market trends, and competitor activities
v Utilize insights to make informed decisions and implement improvements
v Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
v Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region
v Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making adjustments as needed
v Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and take corrective action when necessary
v Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources
v Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team within the assigned region
v Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team members.
v Set individual and team performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews
v Conduct ongoing training programs for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge
v Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and mentoring to team members
Must :
v Education - Any Graduate with Professional degree / Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
v Experience- 6 - 9 years of experience in business development, sales, Team Management or a related role
v Industry - Any industry or Education / Publication / other similar industries

v Good at People Connect & Relationship Management
v Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
v Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
v Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
v Relevant experience in B2B sales would be a plus
v Willing to travel, explore periphery regions
