Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Ahmedabad/Gujarat
Role Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the business for Gujarat region. The role includes driving revenue, developing strong customer relationships, managing key accounts, and expanding market penetration of the company's products. You will lead a team, build channel partnerships, and ensure consistent delivery of sales targets with a strong focus on customer excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Own the sales performance for the Gujarat region and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Identify new business opportunities across pharma, chemical, research labs, education, and industrial sectors.
Market Development
Build strong market presence across key cities: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and surrounding areas.
Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Drive product penetration and expand wallet share in existing accounts.
Key Account Management
Build and manage relationships with large institutional clients, R&D centers, academic institutions, hospitals, and manufacturing companies.
Engage in solution-based selling by understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate products.
Channel Partner Management
Develop and manage distributor and dealer networks in the region.
Ensure channel partners meet sales targets and maintain stock availability.
Conduct regular partner reviews, training, and performance evaluations.
Team Leadership
Lead, motivate, and guide a team of Sales Executives & Territory Managers.
Set clear goals, track performance, and drive accountability.
Build capability through coaching, field support, and training.
Customer Engagement
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers.
Resolve customer queries and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Coordinate with service teams for installations, after-sales support, and complaint resolution.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare regular sales forecasts, MIS reports, and pipeline updates.
Ensure adherence to company sales processes, commercial policies, and ethical guidelines.
Monitor collections and maintain overall credit hygiene.
