The RSM will lead and manage the sales operations of the assigned region for generic pharmaceutical products. The role focuses on driving sales growth, achieving targets, managing the field force, and ensuring strong distribution and doctor coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs).
Monitor secondary and primary sales, product performance, and market trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, stockists, and distributors.
Ensure effective implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Analyze regional sales data and prepare periodic performance reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and ethical marketing standards.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share in the assigned territory.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Commerce; MBA preferred.
8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in managing generic pharma products and leading sales teams.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
