Janis Care Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and well-connected
Retail Head for Mumbai & ROM (Rest of Maharashtra)
to lead our retail operations, drive revenue generation, and expand market presence. The ideal candidate must have
strong experience in distributor sales
, established relationships across the retail pharma market, and the ability to
build and lead a strong sales team
.
The candidate will be responsible for achieving a combined business target of
?1.5 Crores
per month from Mumbai and ROM.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Targets
Drive retail sales across
Mumbai and ROM
with a strong focus on surgical and injectable product lines.
Achieve a combined business target of
?1.5 Crores
per month as per company objectives.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand product penetration and retail market share.
2. Distributor & Retail Network Management
Manage and grow the distributor network across both regions.
Develop strong relationships with chemists, pharmacists, retail chains, stockists, and distributors.
Monitor stock movement, demand forecasting, and inventory planning with distributors.
3. Team Building & Leadership
Recruit and onboard a
high-performing sales team
(mandatory part of the role).
Provide coaching, daily follow-ups, and support to team members to ensure market productivity.
Monitor daily calls, daily reporting, beat planning, and retail coverage.
4. Market Expansion & Relationship Management
Identify new retail opportunities, high-potential markets, and expansion zones.
Maintain strong relationships with key market influencers, major retail counters, and regional distributors.
Conduct regular field visits in Mumbai and ROM to ensure targeted coverage.
5. Performance Reporting & Analytics
Maintain and share performance reports, region-wise business updates, and forecasts with the management.
Analyze competitor activity and market trends for strategic decision-making.
Drive initiatives to improve retailer engagement and order frequency.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong network and relationships in
Retail Pharma ( Mumbai & ROM)

Proven experience in
Distributor Sales

Deep industry knowledge of
Surgical Products & Injectables
.
Ability to
build, lead, and scale
a sales team independently.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Strong market planning, forecasting, and analytical abilities.
Qualification
Graduate or Post-Graduate preferred
Specialization in Sales, Marketing, Pharma, or related fields is an advantage
Experience
Minimum 10+ years
in Retail Pharma Sales
Must have worked extensively with
distributors
and retail networks
Proven track record in
Surgical and Injectable
product categories

Salary as per company standards
No limits for the right candidate (performance and business-driven package)
