Role Overview



As the Regional Sales Head at NewsReach, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our client base, and leading a high-performing sales team within your designated region. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in media sales, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of client needs in the media and PR industry.

Key Responsibilities



1. Strategic Sales Leadership



Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management



Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and stakeholders. Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their objectives.

3. Revenue Growth & Target Achievement



Set and achieve sales targets to drive revenue growth. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure timely collection of payments and manage account receivables.

4. Team Development & Performance Management



Recruit, train, and develop sales team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

5. Reporting & Documentation



Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Technical Competencies & KPIs



New Business Development:

Track the number of new clients acquired and the revenue generated.

Revenue Targets:

Monitor progress towards achieving sales targets.

Client Retention:

Measure client satisfaction and retention rates.

Sales Pipeline Management:

Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and opportunities.

Team Performance:

Evaluate team performance against set objectives.

Qualifications & Skills



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 6-7 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the media or PR industry.

Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Attributes:

Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to changing market conditions.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
