The Regional Physical Security Lead is responsible for supporting the Director of Corporate Security and Travel with day to day company security operations, including but not limited to Physical security operations for facilities; physical campus security assessments; liaising with regional office management and support teams; interfacing with security vendors; assisting internal clients with security needs for facilitating large meetings, company sponsored events and symposiums; assisting the Director of Corporate Security and Travel with security awareness activities, workplace violence mitigation, and travel security programs; and consulting on the design and installation of integrated security systems at Regional Offices and Project Offices during build-out or upgrade phases of construction.
Essential Functions:
1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Liaison and build relationships between Corporate Security and their assigned regions Corporate Leadership, Corporate Safety, Human Resources, and Facilities Management Teams.
3. Develop, implement, and support corporate security strategy though implementation of policies and procedures at assigned regional corporate offices.
4. Conduct security and crisis management training for office management teams and employees assigned to corporate offices within their region.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, first responders and security networking organizations within assigned region.
6. Identify physical security risks and work with local office management and corporate security teams to formulate mitigation plans.
7. Support the Director with researching, implementing, and maintaining compliance for existing and new local, state, federal, and international security regulations
8. Assist with facilitating international project related travel security briefs and implementation of security mitigation measures in assigned regions for employee owners traveling internationally or on an international assignment.
9. Support emergency response through first responder actions when physically present at an office.
10. Conduct regular threat, risk and vulnerability assessments of physical company properties as well as analyze current events and surrounding environments in order to make recommendations for security mitigations and enhancements.
11. Oversee investigations related to the physical security of their region. Resolves, documents, and tracks all security related incidents that occurs within their assigned region.
12. Support the Integrated Electronic Security Team in the maintenance and ongoing system testing of all integrated security systems at all assigned facilities and consult on the design and installation of new or expanded systems through office remodel projects.
13. Manage third-party vendor relationships specific to assigned region as well as liaison with corporate vendor managers to ensure compliance with company standards.
14. Internal client security support for meetings, seminars, and symposiums
15. Support Corporate Services departments, to include Human Resources, Accounting and Legal, with investigations as applicable.
16. All other duties as assigned
