Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve business targets.
Manage and motivate a team of Area Managers, Sales Officers, and Field Staff.
Expand the dealer/distributor network and strengthen channel relationships.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends; provide feedback for strategic decisions.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain dealer credit discipline.
Conduct field visits, farmer meetings, and promotional activities to increase product visibility.
Coordinate with the marketing and production teams for product availability and demand forecasting.
Submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Agri Business Management; MBA (Agri / Marketing) preferred.
Minimum
8-12 years
of experience in fertilizer or agri-input sales, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
Strong understanding of fertilizer markets, distribution channels, and farmer dynamics.
Proven ability to manage large teams and deliver consistent business results.
