REGIONAL MANAGER - SALES
1 Receivables: Follow-up with the customer for realisation of dues, updating Receivable Statements, adjustment of receipts, credits from Customers, co-ordination with the Engineering, Commercial, Finance departments of the Customer, Escalation within the hierarchy of the Customer organisation till the highest level with the Customer for pending overdues, escalation. Correct Invoice submission as per requirement, processes, co-ordination for invoice submission, understanding the income charged in the invoice, the taxes applied on the invoice arranging acknowledgement, monitoring, tracking remarks from the customer against each invoice ensuring no deduction in invoice, arranging advice of payment from the customer, reconciliation of payment from customer with invoice raised. Engaging with the Customer, various departments within the organisation with respect to contractual correctness or lack of it with respect to deductions. Understanding, Co-ordination for other contractual terms like Bank Guarantees (issuance as well as discharge), Security Deposit (records, collection), Service Level Agreements (monitoring, computation), Contractual commitments (spares). Follow-up with the Customer for TDS receivable, WCT receivable certificates.
2 Sales: Sale efforts, meeting, interaction, building relationship with the Customers always ensuring Company reputation, Pre & prior meeting communication with the Customer by way of information, plan, action - internally within the organisation as well as with the Customer, Being well-versed with the portfolio, bouquet, range of Company products and services including Sale of Nozzles, consumables, Line, tank testing, tank cleaning, Installation & Commissioning of Fuel Dispensing units, understanding the Customer requirements, offering suitable solutions, explaining technical advantages, engineering superiority, engage with the customer, get the customer interested and as well as being able to translate and convince that as a commercially feasible proposal to the Customer. Planning for New businesses, customers - Identification, analyzing and converting business, revenue opportunities. Planning for sustaining and growing existing businesses (recurring service contracts) - maintaining accurate, up-to-date database, at all times have grip on the contract terms, contract deliverables vis-a-vis the commercial implications. From validating, compiling proposals to submission, tendering, negotiation, obtaining PO from Customer and clearly defining scope, deliverables, commercial awareness, being the point of contact between the Customer and the Operations, Commercial team. Being up to date on Competitor information and plans.
3 Planning, Budgeting, Costing, pricing: Understanding, recognizing, capturing costs against various revenues streams, current, deferred, across customers, across various lines of business, Validating, compiling Techno-Commercial Offers to customers basis requirements, scope, Bid, offer pricing of various products and services
4 Liaison work: Office Rent agreements and related work, Weights & Measures licence renewal and related work, assistance, co-ordination with HO with respect to regional shops & establishment, State VAT/GST matters
5 Co-ordination, Communication, Escalation & Reporting: The primary function of Receivables requires sensitivity such that the onus and the ultimate ownership for receivables vests, remains with the Regional Manager. The job involves clarity and conviction in thoughts, plan, visible action. The profile requires co-ordination and team-work with other Regional Managers. The profile is responsible for the overall P & L of the Region"
6 Responsible for Tank cleaning projects and related services
7 Understanding client needs
8 Getting & executing business
9 Closure of billing & receivables
10 Ensure project quality and delivery as per timelines
11 Achieving set business targets
12 Setting business targets for LPG and ATG business.
13 Co-ordination with principals related to these businesses.
14 Responsible for all techno-commercial aspects of the business.
15 Setting up organisation to service products
16 Training of field personnel associated with the business.
17 Meeting customers in respect of the businesses for which he is responsible
18 Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 80079-34:2018

Awareness of EN 13617-1, and other EN standard related to DU components
