This role involves managing outreach activities, counseling teams, channel partners, and coordinating with academic departments to ensure smooth execution of the admission process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in student recruitment, regional marketing, and relationship management within the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Admission Planning & Target Achievement
Drive admissions across UG, PG, and professional programs through various channels.
Monitor daily/weekly performance reports and ensure timely achievement of admission goals.
2. Team Management & Operations
Lead, motivate, and train a team of Admission Counselors / Executives within the region.
Oversee admission operations including counseling, documentation, and follow-ups.
Ensure adherence to institutional admission policies, processes, and compliance norms.
3. Outreach & Business Development
Identify and engage with schools, colleges, consultants, and channel partners to increase brand reach.
Organize and represent the institution at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and career guidance sessions.
Build strong relationships with principals, educators, and academic stakeholders in the region.
4. Marketing & Lead Generation
Collaborate with the central marketing team to execute regional campaigns (digital, print, and on-ground).
Track leads from multiple sources (online inquiries, walk-ins, partner referrals, etc.) and ensure effective conversion.
Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights for improving outreach strategies.
5. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare periodic performance and admission status reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
10-12 years of experience
in
student recruitment, admissions, or educational sales
, preferably in universities or higher education institutions.
Strong knowledge of regional markets, education trends, and admission cycles.
Experience in managing teams, meeting sales/admission targets, and handling multi-location operations.
