Job description Requirement: An experienced regional Indian language instructor to teach children from ages 5 to 18, with them being grouped under suitable categories. Also, an instructor with an extensive knowledge of regional cultural aspects is preferred. The core languages for which we are seeking teachers are - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Bengali. We are also interested to hear from other regional language teachers. Responsibilities: Teach both written and spoken regional language to children of different age groups. Take sessions that would enhance learner's knowledge of regional culture along with language. Classes to be conducted in an interactive and unique manner. Curate the content and syllabus as appropriate for the age of the children. The pace and module of the class to be set by teacher. Class diversity to be considered in setting the pace of the class. Using props and aids to impart classes would be recommended. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience teaching the regional language - Tamil ,Malayalam, Telugu or Bengali. B.Ed; M.Ed. in language or any appropriate degree from a reputed university. Desired Candidate Profile: Excellent communication skills in the regional language and English(Neutral accent preferred ) Familiarity with using internet and conducting online classes. Strong hold of using MS office tools, LMS platform etc. Keep the sessions interactive, exciting, and engaging. Have cultural understanding / competencies. Proactive approach to foresee and resolve any problems during the live session. Work Ethics Time management in organizing and conducting live classes. Is creative in execution of the model and activities. General Passion for teaching Should have a laptop with good (min 8MBPS) internet speed. Available to teach in international time zones.
