Coordinate with Farm Incharges, Farm Managers, and Unit Heads to understand manpower requirements.
Ensure timely recruitment for farms, hatcheries, field teams, drivers, and support functions.
Conduct screenings, interviews, and shortlist candidates.
Manage onboarding and ensure proper induction at regional locations.
2. Attendance, Payroll & Compliance
Ensure accurate attendance management across farms, sheds and hatcheries.
Monitor biometric / punch-in issues and coordinate for corrections.
Verify attendance details, and leave records before payroll processing.
3. Employee Relations (ER) & Welfare
Conduct regular farm visits to check employee facilities (accommodation, food, hygiene, safety).
Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues professionally.
Improve engagement through welfare activities, training, and team-building initiatives.
Ensure proper documentation of warnings, memos, and disciplinary actions.
4. Performance Management
Support managers in KPI setting for farm supervisors, technical staff, and field teams.
Track performance metrics such as mortality %, FCR, productivity, and labour efficiency.
Assist in appraisal process and promotions as per company policy.
5. Training & Development
Identify skill gaps in farm operations, hygiene practices, biosecurity, and labour handling.
Conduct training on HR, compliance, safety, code of conduct, and company policies.
Ensure new employees receive proper farm operations guidelines.
6. HR Operations & Documentation
Maintain employee files, ID cards, contracts, and joining documents.
Prepare HR-related MIS--manpower status, attrition, recruitment, leave, and training reports.
Ensure uniform distribution and maintain eligible employees list.
Support audits--internal, external, and statutory.
7. Attrition Control & Retention
Analyse reasons for employee turnover, especially in farm labour and contract staff.
Implement retention strategies such as timely salary, facilities improvement, and grievance handling.
Follow up on absconding cases and ensure timely closure.
8. Coordination & Reporting
Act as a bridge between units, regional teams, and corporate HR.
Report key updates--attendance issues, manpower gaps, discipline problems, and compliance status.
Provide weekly and monthly HR updates to management.
