Job Requirements
Regional Credit Manager
Regional Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the credit assessment and underwriting process for property-backed loans within the designated region.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze credit applications for loan against property in accordance with the bank's credit policies and procedures
- Conduct thorough due diligence on property valuations, legal documentation, and customer creditworthiness
- Manage a team of credit analysts and underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to assess potential risks and opportunities in the market
- Monitor and review the credit portfolio performance, identifying potential areas of improvement and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- Proven experience in credit assessment and underwriting for loan against property, preferably in a banking or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of property valuation, legal documentation, and credit risk analysis
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to make sound credit decisions and manage risk effectively
- Proficiency in using credit assessment tools and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
