The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for leading market shaping and managing business operations across a defined region for the
Ventus portfolio
. The RBM spearheads therapy shaping for a
biologic product
, drives regional sales performance, builds field team capabilities, ensures execution excellence, and supports cross-functional collaboration to deliver business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of specialised
Key Account Managers (KAMs)
to drive therapy shaping for biologics in asthma and deliver sales, market share, and brand performance targets.
Build strong relationships with
regional and national key opinion leaders (KOLs)
, institutional stakeholders, and key customers in the region.
Ensure successful execution of key marketing and strategic initiatives on ground to drive therapy shaping and improve
biologic penetration
among target doctors.
Develop and implement
regional business plans
aligned with national strategies and local market dynamics.
Track regional performance through
data analysis and market insights
; proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Conduct regular
field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
to enhance field force effectiveness and productivity.
Drive a strong
performance culture
through clear goal setting, accountability, recognition, and continuous feedback.
Collaborate closely with
marketing, medical, training, HR, and supply teams
to ensure smooth regional operations.
Ensure
compliance
with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all business activities.
Lead
recruitment, onboarding, and capability development
of KAMs.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in
Science / Pharmacy
;
MBA preferred
.
10-15 years
of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including
2-3 years in a second-line leadership role
.
Specialty pharma experience mandatory
(e.g., oncology, immunology, critical care, or other specialty therapies).
Biologics experience highly desirable
.
Proven
leadership, strategic thinking, and people management
skills.
Strong
analytical ability, customer focus, and execution excellence
.
