Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Refrigeration Technician

to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with refrigeration and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, cold storage units, and cooling equipment. Perform regular maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in refrigeration systems. Replace or repair defective parts, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and valves. Ensure proper refrigerant handling in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Calibrate temperature controls and test system performance. Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports of work performed. Provide technical support and advice to clients on system usage and maintenance. Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely problem resolution.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a refrigeration technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, and HVAC principles. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. Skilled in using tools, testing devices, and repair equipment. Understanding of refrigerants and safe handling practices. Good physical condition and ability to work in varied environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education/Certification:

Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or relevant field. EPA/FGAS or equivalent certification (if applicable). Valid driver's license preferred

Work Environment:

On-site visits at residential, commercial, or industrial locations. May require overtime, weekend shifts, and emergency call-outs.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹51,605.40 per month
