Job Description

1. Objective



To enhance hospital outreach and strengthen the

referral network

by developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with

consultants, doctors, clinics, diagnostic centers, and corporate partners

, ensuring consistent growth in patient inflow through effective referral engagement.

2. Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute

referral marketing plans

to increase patient referrals from external doctors, clinics, and diagnostic partners. Conduct

regular field visits

to meet doctors, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to promote hospital services. Maintain and update the

referral database

with contact details, visit records, and referral performance metrics. Coordinate with

front office, admission, and patient relations teams

to ensure seamless handling of referred patients. Build and sustain

long-term relationships

with key referral partners through consistent communication and professional support. Organize

doctor engagement activities

, CME programs, health camps, and networking meets to strengthen partnerships. Track and report

weekly and monthly referral trends

, including source-wise data analysis. Collaborate with the

digital and corporate marketing teams

to align referral promotions with hospital branding and service updates. Gather and share

market intelligence

on competitor referral strategies and local healthcare trends. Ensure timely

feedback and acknowledgment

to referring doctors for referred patients.

3. Required Skills & Competencies



Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage medical professionals confidently. Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Good understanding of

hospital operations, patient flow, and referral dynamics

. Ability to work independently and meet monthly referral targets. Proficiency in

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

and CRM reporting. Positive attitude, presentable personality, and professional conduct in all interactions.

4. Qualification & Experience



Bachelor's degree in

Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management

, or equivalent. MBA/PGDM in Marketing (preferred).

5-8 years

of experience in referral marketing, hospital business development, or healthcare sales. Prior experience in

hospital/healthcare industry

is mandatory.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Number of new referral doctors/partners added. Month-on-month growth in referral-based patient admissions. Retention and satisfaction rate of referral partners. Timeliness and accuracy of visit reporting and data submission. Achievement of monthly and quarterly referral targets.

6. Work Conditions



Field-based role involving regular visits to doctors, clinics, and medical establishments. May include occasional travel within city limits.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
