Role DescriptionThe Reference Data Analyst focuses on effective oversight of strategic data used across the bank's systems and infrastructure. Reference data, either sourced externally or generated internally, covers a wide range of critical enterprise-wide information such as pricing, securities, books, financial products, clients, legal entities, accounts and mandates.The Reference Data Analyst supports various elements of the data lifecycle, from ensuring that data is captured from the best source, to validating and classifying, and operating controls that optimize its quality and maximize coverage. The Reference Data Analyst has responsibility for maintaining robust processes related to data set-up, storage and distribution, as well as system configuration, together with participation in projects designed to streamline infrastructure and improve efficiency.Reference data is integral to the bank's response to regulatory requirements. Close partnership is needed with stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle Office, Audit, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting to deliver solutions that balance immediate business priorities with long term strategic objectives.Your key responsibilitiesReference Data is responsible for effective oversight of strategic data used across the bank's systems and infrastructure. Reference data covers a wide range of critical enterprise-wide information. Work includes:
Monitor incident queues and alerts, ensuring timely identification and categorization of incidents.
Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of reported issues or events.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents or escalate as necessary
Document incident details, root cause analysis and remediation steps accurately
Maintain incident logs and produce reports for stakeholders and leadership
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Your skills and experience
Overall experience of at-least 1-4 years
Understanding on how to manage an incident and follow-up until closure
The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge in JIRA
Exposure to visualization tools like Tableau are desirable
Good experience in managing operational stakeholders and working with such clients
Passion to innovate and desire to seek out solutions to problems
Effective communication skills - to be able to manage relationships with stakeholders virtually.
Education and Certification
Graduates (BTech, MCA, BCA) with good academic records
Must be a certified Blue Prism developer
Any other RPA or intelligent automation certification is desirable
