This position is responsible for managing all phases of the redevelopment process--from feasibility analysis, entitlement, budgeting, and design to construction oversight and lease-up or disposition. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of real estate development, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Conducting Meetings with society members and explaining the redevelopment process.
Finalizing the agreements of the members with the help of a legal team.
Arranging presentations along with Architects & members regarding the plans.
Getting final approvals of the plans & agreements from the members.
Identify redevelopment opportunities within the existing portfolio or through acquisitions.
Conduct feasibility studies including market analysis, zoning review, and highest-and-best-use assessments.
Prepare pro formas and financial models to evaluate project viability and return on investment.
Lead due diligence processes for redevelopment projects.
Manage the entitlement process including rezoning, permits, variances, and community engagement.
Liaise with city planners, legal advisors, architects, and engineers to secure necessary approvals.
Represent the project in public meetings as needed.
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
Track and report financial performance, ensuring adherence to targets.
Coordinate with finance teams to secure funding, grants, tax credits.
Coordinate with architects, designers, and consultants during the design development phase.
Oversee contractor selection, RFPs, bidding, and negotiation of construction contracts.
Monitor construction progress, manage change orders, and resolve on-site issues.
Ensure timely delivery and quality control.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with asset managers, leasing teams, legal counsel, and operations.
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, tenants, and government agencies.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and timelines.
Prepare regular updates and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in real estate redevelopment, development, construction management, or asset management.
Proven track record of managing redevelopment or repositioning projects from concept to completion.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including real estate financial modeling (Excel, etc)
Deep understanding of land use, zoning, entitlement processes, and construction.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
