About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Recruitment Specialist - Contract Labour
to oversee and manage the hiring of contract manpower across multiple project sites. The role involves close coordination with project heads, site teams, and labour contractors to ensure timely deployment of skilled and unskilled workers, while maintaining complete statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment for contract labour, including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and deployment.
Coordinate with project heads and site supervisors to assess manpower requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
Liaise with third-party vendors for labour supply contracts, renewals, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with the
Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act
, wage laws, and all relevant statutory norms.
Maintain updated databases for contract workers, attendance, and wage records.
Collaborate with HR and Accounts teams for payroll inputs, attendance validation, and payment processing.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor attendance, performance, and worker welfare.
Address and resolve issues related to contract manpower.
Prepare and share manpower reports and MIS with management.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate in any discipline (preferably in HR, Management, or related field).
Proven experience in
contract labour recruitment and vendor management
.
Strong understanding of
labour laws and compliance processes
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
and HR management tools/software.
Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
Experience Requirements
5 to 7 years
of experience in recruitment and management of contract manpower.
Experience in
construction, engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or facility management
industries preferred.
Must have handled
bulk hiring
and coordination with multiple labour contractors.
