2-5 years in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition (Marine, Shipbuilding, or Engineering sector preferred)
Job Summary:
The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates for various technical and non-technical positions within the marine and shipbuilding sector. The role involves close coordination with project and site teams to ensure timely deployment of skilled manpower as per project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end recruitment for marine and shipyard projects (technicians, supervisors, engineers, etc.).
Understand manpower requirements from project managers and department heads.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, internal databases, and referrals.
Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and shortlist suitable candidates.
Coordinate trade tests, technical evaluations, and client interviews.
Maintain candidate databases and ensure timely onboarding and documentation.
Assist in workforce planning, deployment tracking, and contract renewals.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws during recruitment.
Build strong relationships with technical institutes, manpower suppliers, and subcontractors.
Support HR operations and other related tasks as assigned.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Good understanding of marine trades, shipyard operations, and manpower structures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment platforms (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle bulk recruitment.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field.
Diploma or certification in HR / Recruitment will be an added advantage.
