construction or infrastructure domain
. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates across various technical and non-technical roles, aligning with the company's workforce planning and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle - from understanding job requirements to onboarding.
Work closely with project managers and department heads to forecast hiring needs and create job descriptions.
Source suitable candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
Conduct initial screenings, evaluate applicants, and coordinate technical and HR interviews.
Negotiate offers, close candidates, and facilitate smooth onboarding in coordination with HR operations.
Maintain and update the talent pipeline for recurring and future roles, especially technical and site-based positions.
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on hiring status and timelines.
Ensure a seamless candidate experience and promote the company's employer brand.
Stay updated with market trends and competitor hiring practices, particularly in the construction and infrastructure space.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA in HR is a plus.
5-7 years of proven recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in the
construction/infrastructure/engineering
sector preferred.
Strong knowledge of various sourcing techniques and recruitment tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple open positions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with labor laws, contract hiring, and project-based staffing is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
Exposure to hiring for roles such as civil engineers, project managers, site supervisors, safety officers, and procurement roles.
Experience working with HR software/ATS (e.g., Zoho Recruit, Naukri RMS, or similar platforms).
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
