The Recovery Executive will be responsible for following up with customers/clients for outstanding payments, ensuring timely recovery of dues, and maintaining proper records of collections. The role requires good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage overdue accounts while maintaining professional relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact customers through calls, emails, and visits to remind them of pending dues.
Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
Negotiate and provide feasible payment solutions to customers facing financial difficulties.
Maintain accurate records of collections, follow-ups, and customer communications.
Coordinate with internal departments (Accounts, Sales, and Legal teams) for recovery actions.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on collections and outstanding amounts.
Escalate critical/default cases to management or legal team as per company policy.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines during recovery.
Build and maintain professional and positive relationships with customers to reduce default cases.
Requirements:
Graduate in Commerce/Business/Finance or equivalent.
Proven experience in collections/recovery/credit control (1-3 years preferred).
Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism.
Knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.
Basic understanding of financial documents, invoices, and credit policies.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in NBFC/Banking/Financial Services industry.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Self-motivated and target-oriented
