R2R Accountant

who has hands-on experience with

QuickBooks

and a solid understanding of

U.S. GAAP

and month-end close procedures.

Job Summary

We are seeking a

Record to Report (R2R) Accountant

with a strong background in U.S. accounting and

proven expertise in QuickBooks

. You'll be responsible for managing general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting monthly and annual closing cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily and monthly general ledger accounting tasks Perform month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries and accruals in QuickBooks Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts Generate and analyze financial reports from QuickBooks Maintain accuracy of financial records in compliance with U.S. GAAP Support audit requests and ensure proper documentation is maintained Collaborate with AP/AR, payroll, and tax teams for complete reporting Improve and streamline R2R processes and internal controls

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of R2R or general accounting experience in U.S. accounting

Mandatory experience working with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification Experience in a shared services or BPO environment Familiarity with other accounting platforms like NetSuite, SAP, or Xero
