What would you do?

You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Responsible for Cash and Bank Reconciliation. Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger. Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items.

What are we looking for?

o Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements: Matching the company s accounting records (cashbook) with bank statements to identify and reconcile any differences. o Identifying and Investigating Discrepancies: Looking for and investigating any variances between the company s records and bank statements. o Monitoring Banking Activities: Continuously monitoring bank transactions to identify any potential issues or discrepancies. o Recording and Updating Records: Ensuring all cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and bank fees, are accurately recorded in the accounting system. o Adjusting Entries: Preparing necessary adjustments to the accounting records to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy. o Providing Documentation and Reporting: Preparing detailed reports for management review and providing documentation to support financial transactions. o Collaborating with Other Departments: Working with other departments (e.g., accounting, finance) to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. o Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal control policies.

oIn this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems o Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture o You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management o You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments o Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others o In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team o Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
