What would you do?
You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Implementation of gen. ledger processes including yearend closing, journalizing. Recon Analysis while supporting on ongoing project initiatives and testing activities, deliver a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, intuitive inquiry and reporting as well as dynamic allocations and the management of commitments and expenditures also run Interface reports and perform close books of accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities:
o Good understanding of accounting concepts and Insurance (GI) o Partner with key business stakeholders and multi-departments to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of transformation. o Manage and monitor Jobs and interfaces on daily basis and perform troubleshooting in case of interface failure. o Knowledge RDBMS concept and working experience with SQL Database o Perform ad-hoc and standard data reconciliation between front end system and GL system. o Daily monitoring of data transformation and transfer between front end systems to back-end systems. o Day to day trouble shooting, job status and co-ordination with the business and technical team. o Write ad-hoc sql queries to extract data from multiple database systems, perform data analysis and validation. o Work with multiple data sets, compare it and find out the root cause for the data inconsistencies. o Good understanding of data analysis and data visualization. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. o Attention to detail along with a key focus on areas of improvement. o Effective Planning & Problem Solving. o Passionate and Eager to learn and deliver within the continuously challenging environment o Proven ability to handle chocked-up situations along with a great level of logical and analytical capabilities. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with technical writing skills to deal with a technical and non-technical audience. o Prior experience in handling insurance business operations (General Insurance) would be a plus o Understanding of ETL would be a plus. o Good to have SAP FICO/Finance knowledge
