This is a unique opportunity for a high-energy professional to be a part of the Audit & Assurance support team providing end-to-end Financial Reporting and Accounting services and to work directly with global, regional, and member firm leaders.
Application of accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare and review accurate/ timely financial reports & statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
Review financial and operational reconciliations including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis
Review the monthly account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
Preparation of reports for Management information
Supervise & Control the defined scope of processes as applicable to the respective Member firm
Maintenance of financial records (including analysis of revenues & expenses) in compliance with accepted firm policies and procedures
Closely work with Member Firm stake holders on process guidelines
Timely preparation and submission of SLE/KPI dashboards
Review all process documentation prior to submission to Member Firm for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with Internal Controls Group Auditors on process audit
Identify and recommend solutions to complex problems faced in the operational activities
Participate in decision making and assume additional responsibility during the process
Ensure timely periodic, monthly, quarterly and year end close process
Review of journal entries and other general ledger operations
Review of Balance Sheet reconciliation and ageing analysis
Resolution of accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Engage with relevant personnel for resolution of issues and taking an active lead role in owning any reconciling items
Drive the team to achieve Service Level Agreement for the process and individual targets; and work towards process improvement activities
Focus on performance to meet expected levels in terms of daily quantity and quality standards of work
Support identification and integration of any new technology like SAP, Blackline, etc. (including the enhancement of platforms for Collections, Finance & Accounting and Billing functions)
Working on AO reports and provide analysis on Aged Debt Report, Missing Time report, Head Count Report, Risk analysis, Chargebacks & Adjustments, etc.
Liaise with member firm finance team to effectively resolve accounting discrepancies; acting as the first point of contact to ensure complete, timely and accurate flow of invoicing and communication to optimize productivity, organizational effectiveness and maximize cash flow
Liaising and collaborating with other members of the internal finance team and the Business
Participate in all hiring efforts to identify required resource as and when need arises
