Reconciliations Specialist, Assistant Manager
Who we are looking for
Global Credit Finance (GCF) is seeking a reconciliations specialist in its Operations team. The role will support all Global Credit Finance products, including Commercial Real Estate, Fund Finance, Leveraged Loans, Municipal Finance and Stable Value Wrap.

Global Credit Finance\'s mandate is to attract, support and retain bank clients through the use of our balance sheet and strong rating, and to add income and diversification to State Street\'s portfolio of on and off balance sheet investments.
We accomplish this by offering a broad range of products that meet our clients\' credit needs, and partner with the Global Clients Division (GCD), Global Relationship Management (GRM), and Sector Sales product sales teams to attract and grow client relationships. As a result, we cultivate and maintain strong long-term relationships with a many of the bank\'s largest clients.

Responsibilities of the position include performing monthly reconciliations of 350+ general ledger accounts. The person is responsible for maintaining all supporting documents in an auditable manner. The role will work with processing teams to clear exceptions in a timely manner.

Strategic goals will include developing automated processes to support the reconciliations.

What you will be responsible for


  • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Perform daily suspense account reconciliations
  • Develop automation to support reconciliation processes
  • Work closely with processing teams to clear exceptions in a timely manner

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Systematic understanding of Finance and accounting functions
