E-commerce Accountant / Reconciliation Executive

Experience:

1-4 Years (Must have experience in E-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

Reconciliation of online sales from E-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.

Verify sales reports, commission charges, deductions, and payments from marketplaces.

Identify payment discrepancies, shortages, or excess deductions, and coordinate for resolution.

Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for online portal sales.

Maintain accurate records of returns, claims, and chargebacks.

Monthly reconciliation of payouts with sales and tax invoices.

Collaborate with internal accounts team for GST, TDS, and compliance checks.

Track settlement cycles and ensure timely payment follow-ups.

Assist in preparing MIS reports for management review.

Key Requirements:

Good knowledge of E-commerce platforms: Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.

Experience in sales reconciliation, payment tracking, and financial reporting.

Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.)

Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory deductions related to E-commerce.

Attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.
