The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients at the dental clinic, providing a welcoming and professional experience. This role involves managing front-desk operations, handling patient appointments, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and dental staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling using clinic software.
Answer incoming calls, emails, and patient queries promptly.
Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
Assist patients with registration, billing, and payment processing.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Handle walk-ins and emergency appointments effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception and waiting area.
Provide basic information about dental services, treatments, and policies.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and inventory coordination.
Qualifications & Skills:
Under Graduate / Diploma in any stream (preferred).
Prior experience as a receptionist, preferably in healthcare/dental/medical clinic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and appointment management software.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time efficiently.
Professional appearance and customer-service oriented attitude.
Knowledge of dental terminology (added advantage).
