Job Summary:



The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. This role requires a friendly, professional, and organized individual to manage front desk responsibilities, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the school office.

Key Responsibilities: Front Desk & Visitor Management:



Greet and assist all visitors, students, parents, and staff in a warm and professional manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and messages. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area. Ensure all visitors sign in/out and follow school security protocols. Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the school.

Administrative Support:



Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, mail, co). Support teachers and administrative staff with scheduling, document preparation, and data entry. Maintain accurate student records and assist with attendance monitoring. Help coordinate meetings, events, and appointments.

Student & Parent Communication:



Assist with student late arrivals, early dismissals, and general attendance reporting. Communicate with parents regarding absences, illnesses, or school updates. Provide basic first aid assistance and contact parents when necessary (if trained/certified).

Other Duties:



Support school-wide events such as parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and assemblies. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Office Manager.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred, ideally in a school setting. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Pay: ₹9,145.65 - ₹25,000.00 per month
