The Receptionist / Billing Executive will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, responsible for providing courteous assistance, managing front-desk operations, and ensuring accurate and timely patient billing in compliance with NABH and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants with professionalism and empathy.
Handle patient registration, admission, and discharge formalities.
Generate and process patient bills accurately (OPD/IPD/Diagnostics).
Coordinate with doctors, nursing, and accounts teams for smooth billing and documentation flow.
Manage cash, card, and online payments while maintaining daily collection records.
Respond to patient inquiries, calls, and emails promptly and courteously.
Ensure all forms, consents, and billing documents are filled, verified, and securely filed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information at all times.
Support NABH quality documentation and audit processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Business, or Healthcare Administration).
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hospital front office or billing operations (in a NABH setup preferred).
Proficiency in hospital management software (HIS/ERP).
Excellent communication, customer service, and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of insurance processes and TPA documentation is desirable.
