The Receptionist & Counsellor will be the first point of contact for students and parents. This role requires someone who can warmly welcome visitors, manage front-desk activities, and confidently guide students in selecting the right computer courses. The candidate will support the institute's admission process and ensure smooth communication between students, faculty, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide clear information about courses, fees, batch timings, and institute procedures.
Counsel students based on their interests, career goals, and skill level.
Assist with the admission process--form filling, documentation, and maintaining enquiry logs.
Follow up with potential students through phone, messages, or email.
Coordinate demo classes, admission meetings, and faculty schedules.
Maintain organised records, attendance, and front-desk documentation.
Keep the reception area clean, organised, and student-friendly.
Support daily administrative tasks and ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
Undergrduate/Graduate in any discipline; experience in counselling or front-desk roles preferred.
Good communication skills in English and local language.
Basic to intermediate computer skills (MS Office, email, typing).
Pleasant personality, patient, and confident in interacting with students and parents.
Ability to multitask, handle enquiries, and manage time effectively.
