Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Patient & Visitor Interaction:

Greet, welcome, and direct patients/visitors, answer inquiries, and provide directions within the hospital.

Scheduling:

Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments, tests, and procedures, optimizing provider time.

Phone Management:

Answer multi-line phones, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate departments.

Patient Records:

Register patients, update demographic/insurance info, maintain accurate electronic and paper records, and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA).

Administrative Tasks:

File, photocopy, fax, manage supplies, prepare new patient charts, and process billing/payments.

Coordination:

Liaise with medical staff and other departments for seamless patient flow.

Environment:

Maintain a clean, organized, and calm reception/lobby area.

Qualifications & Skills:



Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Graduate preferred).

Experience:

Previous receptionist or admin experience, preferably in healthcare.

Skills:

Excellent communication (written/verbal), strong organization, multitasking, customer service, computer proficiency (MS Office, Hospital Systems), data entry, and a pleasant, calm demeanor.

Attributes:

Professional, presentable, able to handle stress, and work rotational shifts/weekends.

Pay: ₹9,532.43 - ₹25,391.51 per month
