Job Description

A Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in a tuition center plays a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth communication, and providing support to students, parents, and teachers. Below are the key job roles and responsibilities:

1. Front Desk Management

Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about courses, schedules, and fees.

Handle walk-in inquiries and guide potential students through the admission process.

2. Student and Parent Coordination

Maintain student attendance records and inform parents about absences.

Communicate with parents regarding student progress, assessments, and fee payments.

Schedule trial classes, assessments, and parent-teacher meetings.

3. Administrative Support

Maintain student records, enrollment details, and fee payment logs.

Assist in preparing class schedules, timetables, and teacher allocations.

Ensure all necessary materials (worksheets, question papers, stationery) are available for classes.

4. Fee Collection & Accounting Assistance

Collect and record tuition fees, issue receipts, and follow up on pending payments.

Maintain financial records related to fees, expenses, and salary payments (if required).

5. Coordination with Teachers

Inform teachers about class schedules, student enrollments, and any updates.

Assist in arranging substitute teachers if any faculty member is absent.

Collect assessment reports and share them with parents.

6. General Office Management

Ensure the reception area and classrooms are well-maintained and organized.

Order office supplies and maintain inventory (stationery, printer ink, cleaning materials, etc.).

Handle minor IT support, such as managing online class links or troubleshooting basic tech issues.

7. Marketing & Promotions (if applicable)

Assist in promoting the tuition center through social media updates and local advertisements.

Help organize workshops, open houses, or promotional events.

Distribute flyers and manage inquiry databases for follow-ups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
