Reservation Management
: Handle phone, email, and online bookings, update reservation systems, and modify bookings as needed.
Administrative Tasks
: Maintain guest records, prepare invoices, and manage cash transactions. Ensure all charges are posted correctly to room bills.
Customer Service
: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints. Provide assistance with transportation, restaurant reservations, and other guest needs.
Communication
: Act as a liaison between guests and hotel management, ensuring that all guest feedback is communicated effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hotel Receptionist or relevant position
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
Excellent math skills
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to handle stress and stay calm under various circumstances
Diploma in hotel management or relevant field is a plus
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with reservation software and basic computer skills are often required.
