Job Description

A receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and callers, responsible for greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, and providing excellent customer service. They handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing mail and deliveries, maintaining the reception area, and supporting office security by monitoring visitor access. Receptionists often assist with various clerical tasks like copying, faxing, note-taking, and arranging travel plans, ensuring smooth front desk and office operations.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming visitors warmly and directing them appropriately Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls professionally Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area with necessary supplies Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks and scheduling meetings Managing office security by issuing visitor badges and monitoring access Handling basic inquiries and providing accurate information to visitors and callers
