Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours.
Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations through the hotel management system.
Handle guest requests, complaints, or emergencies professionally and promptly.
Maintain accurate guest records and night audit reports.
Answer incoming calls, emails, and online queries; handle room bookings from multiple channels.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requirements.
Monitor the security of the premises (CCTV, access control, etc.) and report any incidents.
Manage cash/credit card transactions at the front desk and maintain proper accounts.
Ensure the reception and lobby areas remain clean and presentable.
Prepare and submit end-of-shift/night audit reports to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Minimum +2/Graduate (Diploma in Hotel Management preferred).
Prior experience as a front desk receptionist or in hotel operations is an advantage.
Proficiency in hotel software (like IDS, Opera, or equivalent) and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil (additional languages a plus).
Strong customer service attitude and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Work Schedule
Night Shift: 8:00PM - 8:00 AM (adjustable as per hotel requirements).
