Job Description

A receptionist manages the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities include managing appointments, sorting mail and deliveries, maintaining organized common areas, and providing general administrative support to an organization. Visitor management:

Greet visitors, answer questions, provide directions, and ensure they are directed to the correct person or department.

Communication:

Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries professionally.

Scheduling:

Manage appointment schedules, book meeting rooms, and assist with coordinating meetings.

Administrative support:

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, manage the office filing system, and perform other administrative duties like filing and data entry.

Office upkeep:

Keep the reception area and other shared spaces clean and organized. Monitor and restock office supplies.

Security:

Maintain visitor logs, issue security passes, and ensure security protocols are followed.
