Key Responsibilities
:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
Register new patients and manage appointments for consultants, OPD, and diagnostics.
Answer telephone calls promptly; handle inquiries or direct them to the concerned department.
Maintain patient records, update information in the hospital management software/EMR.
Guide patients on billing, insurance documentation, and other administrative procedures.
Coordinate with departments like nursing, lab, radiology, and pharmacy for smooth patient flow.
Ensure waiting areas and front desk are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Collect and record feedback from patients regarding services.
Handle complaints calmly and escalate to Admin/Manager when needed.
Manage shift handovers and maintain logs of daily activities.
Key Requirements
:
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Hospital Administration or related field).
1-4 years of experience in a hospital or clinic front desk role.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with hospital software (e.g., MedSys, Insta, or similar).
Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language.
Good interpersonal skills and a patient-friendly attitude.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Preferred Qualities
:
Presentable with a pleasant personality.
Experience handling billing or TPA coordination is a plus.
Willingness to work night shifts or weekends if required.
