The Hospital Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role involves welcoming people, handling inquiries, managing appointments, and supporting smooth front-desk operations while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors politely and guide them appropriately
Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling
Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital departments
Maintain patient records and front-desk documentation
Assist with billing, admissions, and discharge formalities
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Follow hospital policies, safety, and confidentiality standards
Handle Night Shift
Required Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Polite, patient, and professional attitude
Basic computer and data-entry skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Calm behavior in a busy healthcare environment
Qualification:
BHM or equivalent Degree
MHA passed out will be an added advantage
Experience: 1 - 2 years as receptionist in hospital industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
