Job Title: Receptionist / Front Office
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students, and callers. The role involves handling the front desk, managing calls, greeting visitors, giving basic information, and coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
1? Front Desk & Visitor Management
Greet and welcome visitors, parents, and students in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain the visitor register and issue visitor passes if required.
Guide visitors to the appropriate department/person.
2? Phone Calls & Communication
Handle incoming calls, respond to basic queries, and transfer calls to concerned staff.
Make outgoing calls as required by management or departments.
Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to the concerned person.
3? Admission & General Inquiry Support
Provide basic information about school/college timings, facilities, location, and admission procedure.
Guide walk-in parents/students to the admission counselor or concerned person.
4? Front Office Administration
Handle courier, mail (inward and outward), and document dispatch.
Maintain front office area neat, clean, and presentable at all times.
Manage stationery stock for reception (registers, pens, forms, etc.).
5? Coordination & Support
Coordinate with teachers, admin, transport, and accounts for messages and information.
Support in sending SMS/WhatsApp messages to parents when required.
Assist in organizing meetings, parent interactions, and small events at the front office.
6? Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain records such as visitor log, call log, and basic inquiry details.
Prepare simple daily/weekly reports as required by the Admin/Principal/Manager.
Required Qualifications/ Education
Minimum 12th pass (PUC) or Graduate in any stream.
Experience
0-2 years of experience in front office, reception, customer service, or admin.
Experience in school/college/hospital/reception will be an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
