front desk responsibilities

, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties
Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries and direct them to the concerned department.
Maintain visitor logs and handle general reception area upkeep.
Back Office & Administrative Support
Assist with basic data entry and record-keeping tasks.
Maintain and update records of products and shipments related to the transportation side of the business.
Handle filing and organization of bills, challans, and other business documents.
Support day-to-day office operations and provide assistance to management as required.
Financial & Documentation Support
Work with basic functions in
Tally
for billing and record maintenance.
Prepare and manage spreadsheets in
Excel
for tracking data, reports, and business operations.
Ensure accuracy and timely filing of accounts and office records.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum qualification: Graduate
Basic knowledge of
Tally ERP
and accounting processes.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
and
Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Ability to multitask and handle responsibilities independently.
