Job Description

We are looking for a professional and personable Receptionist to manage our front desk at a prestigious jewellery showroom. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a warm and welcoming environment. You will handle incoming calls, greet visitors, assist with basic showroom operations, and support the sales and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet customers and visitors warmly and professionally. Manage the front desk: answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and redirect calls as needed. Maintain visitor records and ensure showroom security procedures are followed. Schedule and confirm appointments for customers and clients. Maintain the reception and waiting areas to ensure they are clean, well-presented, and welcoming. Support the sales team with basic administrative tasks such as billing assistance, packaging coordination, or maintaining client records. Provide basic information about jewellery collections, promotions, or services (training provided). Handle customer feedback and complaints politely and escalate them when necessary. Coordinate refreshments for clients, especially during high-end visits. Assist in inventory coordination or stock entry if required by the manager.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role (experience in luxury retail or jewellery preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentable, polished appearance and professional demeanor. Strong customer service orientation. Proficiency with MS Office, email, and phone systems. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Fluency in [insert required languages, if applicable]. Basic knowledge of jewellery or willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in luxury retail or a jewellery environment. Knowledge of billing/invoicing software or POS systems. Multilingual skills are a plus.

Working Hours:
