The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This role is responsible for greeting guests, answering and directing calls, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the front desk represents the company professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
Assist other departments with administrative support as needed (e.g., data entry, filing).
Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
Requirements and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
