Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience. The role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk services and providing exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess excellent front desk operations skills (Mandatory skill) with the ability to manage reception efficiently.
  • Proficiency in appointment coordination (Mandatory skill) to ensure smooth scheduling and patient management.
  • Strong customer service skills required to interact politely and professionally with patients and visitors.
  • Ability to effectively handle scheduling tasks and maintain organized appointment systems.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette required for answering inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications needed for various administrative duties and documentation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage the front desk by welcoming and greeting visitors and patients in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring efficient time management and minimal wait times.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments or personnel promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily patient visits and appointment logs.
  • Handle all queries and complaints from patients or visitors with a customer-focused approach.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
  • Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials (e.g. pens, forms) available.
  • Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the front desk.
