REBAR ESTIMATION CHECKER/ TEAM LEADER

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze rebar estimates prepared by the estimation team. Verify accuracy in quantities, dimensions, and specifications. Cross-check estimates against project plans, drawings, and specifications. Ensure estimates comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Identify and address discrepancies between project requirements and estimates. Identify and report errors or inconsistencies in rebar estimates. Recommend corrections or adjustments to the estimation team. Prepare detailed reports of findings and observations. Maintain organized records of reviewed estimates and related documents. Work closely with the estimation team to clarify ambiguities or resolve discrepancies. Provide feedback and guidance to improve estimation accuracy. Suggest process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of estimation workflows. Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in rebar estimation is preferred. Familiarity with estimation software and tools. Skills: Strong understanding of rebar detailing principles, US rebar standards, and construction methods. Ability to analyze complex drawings and detailed technical information. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Knowledge of construction codes and standards related to rebar. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
