Job Summary:

The Store Manager will oversee the receipt, storage, and issue of construction and real estate project materials. The role ensures proper inventory control, timely material availability, documentation accuracy, and coordination with procurement and project teams to support smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day store operations including receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials. Maintain accurate stock records in manual and digital systems. Conduct regular physical verification of inventory and reconcile with records. Monitor material movement for multiple real estate sites or projects. Coordinate with the purchase and project teams for timely material supply. Ensure proper storage conditions to avoid damage or wastage. Maintain records for GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Requisition Note), and stock ledgers. Track consumption and report stock levels periodically. Supervise store staff and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards. Identify slow-moving and obsolete materials and suggest disposal.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of store and inventory management practices. Familiarity with construction materials (cement, steel, tiles, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or inventory software. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's / Diploma in Commerce, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. Certification in Inventory or Warehouse Management preferred.
