Review, draft, and negotiate agreements related to property acquisition, joint ventures, development, leasing, and construction.
Conduct due diligence on property titles and land acquisition documents.
Ensure legal compliance with local, state, and central real estate laws including RERA, stamp duty, and registration.
Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation and regulatory matters.
Manage legal risks associated with projects and provide solutions.
Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies for approvals and legal documentation.
Handle disputes with vendors, customers, contractors, and third parties.
Maintain proper legal documentation and case records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB); Master's Degree (LLM) preferred.
Minimum 2 years of legal experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
Strong knowledge of real estate laws, RERA, land acquisition processes, and contract law.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple legal matters and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with property title due diligence.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like RERA, DCR, and municipal laws.
Strong interpersonal and advisory skills.
