About the Role

We're looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our team in building a revolutionary anonymous dating app. This platform is focused on ephemeral communication, privacy-first interaction, and secure, short-lived connections. You'll play a key role in designing and developing a seamless mobile experience that puts user anonymity and data safety at its core.

What You'll Work On

Develop and maintain a React Native mobile app for both Android and iOS.

Build core features like:

Anonymous onboarding (no email/phone required)

One-time, interest/random-based match system

Ephemeral chat (auto-deleting messages/media)

Voice and video calling

Integrate with end-to-end encryption protocols for secure communication.

Implement optional privacy features like blurred faces in video calls and screenshot detection/blocking.

Collaborate with backend developers on real-time systems.

Ensure smooth integration of device features like camera, mic, and media sharing (using Expo or native modules).

Prioritize performance, privacy, and user experience throughout development.

Tech Stack You'll Work

Frontend:

React Native (with Expo or native modules)

WebRTC or Alternative for P2P voice/video

Secure UI/UX best practices

Backend (you'll collaborate with):

Node.js

MongoDB

AWS S3 (temporary file storage)

Signal Protocol / AES (for E2E encryption)

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has 2.5 + years of experience in React Native development

Understands mobile performance optimization, asynchronous programming, and cross-platform UI development

Is experienced with WebRTC or any alternative, voice/video chat, and real-time messaging

Understands privacy and encryption (E2E, data lifecycle, secure storage, etc.)

Knows how to build clean, modular code

Is a problem solver with strong attention to user privacy and app security

Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage product environment

Bonus If You Have:

Experience building anonymous or social/chat apps

Knowledge of device fingerprinting or anonymous authentication

Familiarity with implementing screenshot prevention or content blurring

Prior work with ephemeral or self-destructing communication features
